Module 11

Call Scripts

Every script, in full, in one place. Leads reach us through the campaign and get pushed along a defined path — these are the calls that move them from one stage to the next. Read them here, study them here, come back to them on a live call.

Script 01

Pre-Qualification

Qualify the lead and get them on with a senior advisor

Open PDF

The lead has come in through the campaign and you are running the qualifying call. Your job is to confirm the basics and hand them off — not to pitch.

Opening

“Hey, is this [Client's First Name]?”

(If yes — build rapport before moving on.)

“Hey [Client's Name], this is [Your Name], how are you doing today?”

“Great. I was calling because I got a request that you were looking for [Type] capital for the business. I know you were not expecting my call. I just need about 10 minutes so I can get you pre-qualified — fair?”

(If they say they're busy.)

“No problem. I just need a couple quick questions to see if this is even a fit. Takes less than a minute — fair? Then I'll get you on my senior advisor's schedule to dive deeper.”

Transition

(If they say yes.)

“Perfect. So what we'll do real quick is I'll run through a few qualifying questions on the business, then I'll either transfer you live or lock you in with one of my senior advisors so they can dive deeper into your file.”

Move Into Qualification

“Alright. How long have you been in business?”

Basic Qualification Questions

(Ask in order. Write answers down. Keep it fast.)

“1. How long have you been in business? 2. What does the business do? 3. How much capital do you need? 4. What are the funds for?”

(If they push back on answering.)

“These are the filters the senior advisors use. Without them I can't get you in front of anyone who can actually structure something. Takes 20 seconds.”

Transition to Close

“Got it. Based on what you just shared, this looks workable. I can either transfer you live right now, or lock a specific time with a senior advisor later today. They'll dive deeper into the application and get you 3 to 5 offers today or tomorrow. Which works better?”

Closing — Live Transfer

“Actually, I have my VP of Funding available right now — let me transfer you to them.”

Closing — Set Appointment

“When are you going to be by a computer or in a quiet space — morning or afternoon?”

(Once they answer.)

“Perfect. I've got [time 1], [time 2], or [time 3] open. Which of those works best for you?”

“Locked you in at [chosen time]. You'll get a calendar invite and text confirmation shortly. When you jump on, just let them know you already went through the pre-qual.”

Objection Handles

“Just email me rates / info”

Rates and structure are deal-specific. The advisors won't quote anything until they see the basics we just covered. Fastest path is 10 minutes with them.

“I'm talking to a few places”

Most people we work with are. Let me transfer you to our VP of Funding — I see they're available right now. They've been in the business for 20 years. They're not some 20-year-old broker who's not going to take care of you. We believe in being your funding partner for growth until you exit or retire from the business. We treat our clients like family. We're not just lending you money — we have many tools to help you grow, including industry-specific experts. We're a true partner. Give us 15 minutes of your time and let me show you what Capvera can do.

“Not ready yet / No”

If I could get your business $100k right now on good terms, you're telling me you couldn't use that to 3 to 6x your profits right now? Help me understand — what's actually holding you back from taking a look?

Script 02

Conditional Approval

Lead with a number to pull the application and statements

Open PDF

The lead is past the qualifying stage and stalling on paperwork. The number here is not an offer — it is built off industry-standard ranges for the business type so there is something concrete to react to. It gives the merchant a reason to finish the application and send statements, which is what actually gets the file to underwriting.

Opening

“Hey, is this [Client's First Name]?”

(If yes.)

“Hey [Client's Name], this is [Your Name] with Capvera underwriting. We had a conditional approval come through for $125,000 on the business. To get that turned into a final offer, we just need a formal application and your most recent statements. Do you have a couple minutes so I can get this moving for you?”

(If they say they're busy.)

“No problem — this is just the step to convert the $125k conditional into a final offer. We only need the formal application and statements. Takes a minute to lock it in. Fair?”

Transition

(If they say yes.)

“Perfect. So what we'll do is get you set up to complete the formal application and submit your statements. I'll either transfer you live right now or lock you in with one of our senior advisors so they can walk you through it and get the final offer across.”

Straight to Application + Statements

“Alright — underwriting already has the conditional approval at $125k. The only thing left is the formal application and your most recent bank statements so they can issue the final offer. I can get you with a senior advisor who will handle the application with you and collect the statements. They can usually turn the final offer around the same day or next day once those are in.”

(If they push back or ask questions.)

“It's standard — the conditional is already there, we just need the formal app and statements to verify and release the final offer. The advisor will make it quick.”

Transition to Close

“I can either transfer you live right now so they can start the application with you, or lock a specific time later today. Which works better?”

Closing — Live Transfer

“Actually, I have a senior advisor available right now — let me transfer you so they can walk you through the application and get the statements pulled in.”

When you jump on, just let them know you're calling to complete the application and submit statements for the $125k conditional approval.”

Objection Handles

“Just email me the application / rates”

Rates and structure are finalized once the application and statements are in. Underwriting won't release the final offer until those are submitted. Fastest path is a quick call with the senior advisor — they'll walk you through the app and collect the statements right there.

“I'm talking to a few places”

Most people we work with are. This $125k is already conditionally approved on our side. Let me get you with our senior advisor so they can finish the application and statements and show you the final offer. They can usually get it done in one sitting.

“Not ready yet / No”

If I could get this $125k finalized once the application and statements are in, you're telling me you couldn't use that? Help me understand — what's holding you back from knocking out the application so underwriting can issue the final offer?

How to study these

Read a script start to finish once, then read it out loud. The wording only works if it sounds like you — so keep the structure and the closes exact, and let the small talk be yours. Come back to the handles before a calling block; the objections are the part that falls apart when you are not warmed up.
