Module 06

Capvera Payments & the Clover catalog

Clover is not an upsell. It is the rails that clean the file, unlock 0% processing and the 50% residual, and keep the merchant fundable long after the first advance. This is the full January 2026 catalog — every lease cap, every plan, and the clawback rules you are expected to explain.

The offer

What the merchant actually gets

0% processing

On Visa, Mastercard and Amex — depending on approval and volume.

50% residual

Half the processing residual goes back to the merchant, every month.

Hardware + SaaS

Every device priced by lease term, plus six Clover SaaS service plans.

Back-office tools

Reporting and management built into the install, not sold as an extra.

Why this matters on a build

Every dollar that runs through Clover lands on the statement as clean, on-rail revenue. That is what turns a build file into a fund file — and what keeps it fundable on the second and third round.

Most expensive term — do not quote this as the price

Read this before you quote it

The Duo 2 is $218 at 24 months and $129 at 36 months — but $225 at 48 months. The longest term is the most expensive, which is the opposite of how most merchants expect leasing to work. If you quote "$225" without naming the term, you are quoting the worst number on the sheet.

Hardware

Every device is priced by lease term

There is no single price for anything on this sheet. Every device has three numbers — 24, 36 and 48 month lease caps. Learn to read the row, because quoting one number without naming the term is how you get caught out.

SaaS tiers

Four tiers, matched to the business

Sell the tier that fits the merchant's operation — not the most expensive one. A merchant who outgrows their plan is a conversation; one who was oversold is a cancellation.

Starter

$0first device · +$11.95 each extra

Payments-only merchants. Swipe, tap, dip plus virtual terminal, invoicing, recurring and cash discount. Limited App Market access.

+$19.95 if third-party apps are used

Essentials

Services Growth

Salons, shops, appointments. Everything in Essentials plus a service catalog, scheduling, online booking, reminders and no-show fees.

Restaurant Growth

$89.95first device · +$19.95 each extra

Counter and table service. Tables, tabs, coursing and modifiers, online ordering and delivery apps, bill split and tableside pay.

KDS $25 · Kiosk $34.95 per device

Healthcare

$0first device · +$11.95 each extra

Healthcare MCC only. Payments on Compact, Flex and Mini with a HIPAA-oriented boarding path and no full retail inventory stack.

Confirm MCC before quoting

Billed by Clover through the App Market. Pricing from the August 2025 SaaS matrix. Processing rates are separate from plan fees.

ServicePro 911

An App Market add-on for field and home-service companies — dispatch, estimates, service agreements, invoicing and job tracking on Mini, Flex and Station. It is not a Clover SaaS tier and it is billed separately.

Quote the App Market price at boarding — package rates come from ServicePro directly.

Pair it with Services Growth when the merchant also needs Clover appointments and online booking.

Who you are actually dealing with

  • Clover

The hardware and the App Market — devices, peripherals and stands.

  • Lesser Private Client Leasing

The leasing side. Billing schedule and the clawback terms live here, not with Clover.

Lease caps in this catalog are internal rates — not advertised consumer pricing. Never present them as published retail prices.

Leasing terms

Billing schedule & clawback rules

This is the part merchants get surprised by, and the part that becomes your problem if you did not explain it. Know both before you write a lease.

Billing schedule

  • Charges are billed on the 5th and the 15th of each month.
  • No payments are collected during the first 30 days.
  • After the initial 30-day period, billing is based on the date the lease started.
  • The first billing cycle covers one full month plus a prorated amount for the partial first month.

The headline

The merchant pays nothing for the first 30 days, and the first cycle is a full month plus a prorated partial. Say that out loud on the call — nobody likes discovering a prorated first bill.

Clawback rules

  • Clawback applies for fraud or misrepresentation

It can be triggered at any point up to lease end — not just in the first few months.

  • Capvera runs an internal welcome call on every new lease

This is part of the process, and it is also your protection. The call is what documents that the merchant understood what they signed.

  • Zero clawback if the merchant makes 90 days of on-time payments

Ninety days of clean payments clears the clawback. That is the target, and it starts the day the lease goes live.

Before you present anything

Confirm current billing dates, prorate calculations, the welcome-call process and the clawback terms with Lesser Private Client Leasing. Verify before finalizing — not after.
